Cairo International Bank's technology has continually been changing to improve our service to our customers. Recently, the bank introduced Auto Teller Machines to enable our customers access their money 24-7. The Banking application has also been upgraded to a newer version to enable fast transaction of business and offering timely service to our customers. Of recent, customers can transfer money from any bank in Uganda instantly using SWIFT- the Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system. This follows its introduction by Bank of Uganda, to enable Bank-to-Bank transfers easier.
We have also adapted the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) that enables customers to make payments or send money to other banks in a period not exceeding 24hrs compared to the traditional 72hrs with the cheque system through the clearing house. All this is deliberately calculated to bring service nearer to our customers, satisfy their needs, and minimize risks of loss of cash as is, sometimes the case with issuance of cheques. Other services offered include among others, Electronic Drafts, and the World Link Cheque.
